Which checks Verath can see

Verath can only alert you about checks reported by organisations connected to its network, such as verification providers, credit bureaus, banks and fintechs. It cannot see lookups made by organisations that are not connected.

Coverage grows as more partners connect, and we will always be clear about which sources are connected. If you don't get an alert, it doesn't prove nobody checked your number.

Why might I get two alerts for one check?

Usually you won't: when the same lookup is reported by two partners within a few minutes, Verath merges them into one alert. A second alert normally means a second check.
