Website privacy statement

Last updated: October 2026

What this notice covers

This notice explains how VERATH LLC handles information collected through this website, including the waitlist, contact and feedback forms. The Verath app and identity-monitoring service are covered by our app privacy policy.

What we collect

Only what you choose to submit: typically your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, organisation and message. Please do not submit NIN, BVN or other identity numbers through this website.

Website usage statistics

To understand how the site is used and keep it fast, we use privacy-friendly analytics and performance monitoring provided by our hosting provider. They record aggregated information such as pages viewed, the referring website, approximate country, device and browser type, and page-load performance. They do not use cookies, do not build profiles of individual visitors, and are not used to identify you.

Research survey

If you answer our research survey, we store only your answers and when they were sent. We do not ask for your name or contact details and do not record your IP address or device with your answers; long numbers and email addresses typed into comment boxes are removed before saving. To summarise results, we may send the combined answers and comments, with those details removed, to an AI service provider, which processes them on our behalf.

Support assistant

Our help pages include an AI assistant that answers questions from our published help articles. It cannot see any Verath account. Before your message is saved or sent to our AI service provider, long numbers and email addresses are removed. We keep chats, without your name, IP address or contact details, for 30 days to check and improve answers, then delete them.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, to send you updates about Verath if you joined the waitlist or ticked “Keep me updated”, and to understand interest in our products. We do not sell your information.

Service providers

Form submissions are delivered to our team by email through a third-party email delivery provider. If you join the waitlist, or tick “Keep me updated” when contacting sales, that provider also stores your email address (and first name, if you give it) so we can send you updates; every update includes an unsubscribe link. The website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which also provides the usage statistics described above. Our forms are protected from spam and abuse by a bot-protection service, which checks that a submission comes from a person and may process technical information such as your IP address and browser characteristics for that purpose. To find and fix technical faults, we use an error-reporting service (hosted in the EU), which receives technical details of an error such as the page, browser type and what went wrong. Reports are filtered to remove identity numbers and personal details before they are sent. These providers process data on our behalf. A list of our service providers is available on request.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted, or to remove you from the waitlist or our updates list, at any time by emailing info@verath.io.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising, marketing or tracking cookies, and our usage statistics are collected without cookies.

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for things you ask us to do. When you sign in to your Verath account or the partner portal, sign-in cookies keep you signed in and secure; they are deleted when you sign out or they expire. Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps stop automated spam and abuse. Because these are strictly necessary, they don’t need your consent, and the site works without any others. If we ever add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and let you change your choice at any time.
