Mission
Give every person visibility and control over how their digital identity is used.
Vision
A trusted identity ecosystem where no account is opened in your name without you knowing.
Principles
How we build
Owner first
The person an identity belongs to should know how it is used, and have a say.
Minimal data
We collect only what we need to alert and protect. We never build a second identity database.
Built to be attacked
We design every system assuming adversaries will target it, from day one.
Ecosystem, not competitor
We aim to complement existing identity rails and consent work, not replace them.
Inclusive by design
Alerts for smartphone and feature-phone users, at home and abroad, in the languages people speak.
Honest about limits
We say clearly what Verath can see and what it can’t, and which features are live and which are planned.
What Verath is not
Clear boundaries build trust.
Being explicit about what we don’t do matters as much as what we do.
Verath does not verify identities for businesses or resell identity data.
Verath does not store NIMC or NIBSS identity records such as photos, fingerprints or addresses.
Verath does not move money or recover lost funds. We route disputes to the institutions and authorities that can act.
Early access
Be first to know when your identity is used.
Verath is in development. Join the waitlist for early access, product updates and launch news.
