VRH ID is an early-stage concept in development. Details will be shared as the product takes shape.
Why it matters
Every form that asks for your NIN is another copy of it.
Each time you type your identity number into a form, it is stored somewhere new. The more places it lives, the more places it can leak from.
VRH ID explores a different pattern: share a consented, revocable reference instead of the number itself.
How it works
How VRH ID works
- 1
Get your VRH ID
Once your NIN or BVN ownership is verified, Verath issues a VRH ID linked to your account.
- 2
Share with consent
Give your VRH ID to a participating partner, and approve the request in your Verath app.
- 3
Partner gets a yes or no
The partner learns that you are a verified owner, without receiving your identity record.
- 4
Revoke any time
See who has used your VRH ID and withdraw consent when you choose.
